Surveys
We can be engaged to undertake diagnostic dampness, timber and condensation surveys of associated defects.
During initial consultation with the client, a series of questions will be asked which are designed to help us establish the probable extent of survey necessary.
Often, a non-destructive survey is sufficient to diagnose building defects. A full compliment of diagnostic equipment can be utilised to help establish a definitive cause to the symptoms being investigated. However, it may be advised that destructive tests are undertaken to confirm the lead cause of the defect. Destructive surveys can include, drilled mortar, masonry and plaster sampling, borescope inspections and destructive testing of timbers.
A detailed report of the survey will be produced within a prearrange timescale and dispatched to the client by post or e-mail.
